We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Nurse Manager to join our team. As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care to residents in our Dublin nursing home.

* Main Responsibilities:
","
1. To ensure the delivery of high standards of nursing care that meet individual resident needs.
","
2. Ensuring adherence to home policies and best clinical standards at all times.
","
3. Troubleshooting ongoing clinical issues and escalating to the Director of Nursing as necessary.
","
4. Performing comprehensive assessments of residents and monitoring ongoing assessments and modifications.
","
5. Supervising medication administration and compliance by nursing staff.
","
6. Liaising with GPs and pharmacy regarding medication reviews and audits.
","
7. Working alongside and being a visible presence with Staff Nurses and Care Assistants.
","
8. Participating in Training & Development/Performance Appraisal for Staff Nurses and Care Assistants in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
","
9. Reviewing recent admissions to ensure appropriate assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care are documented.
","
10. Monitoring standards of cleanliness and hygiene and fostering effective working relationships between staff.
","
11. Ensuring environmental and hand hygiene audits are carried out regularly and thoroughly.
","
12. Interacting and supporting residents and families daily.
","
13. Being a key point of contact for relatives and visitors and an ambassador for the home.
","
14. Managing daily activities including checking and managing rosters when required.
","
15. Supporting and developing clinical practice through a hands-on approach with Staff Nurses and Care Assistants.
","
16. Implementing Company Health and Safety Policy to safeguard staff, residents, and others.
","
* Requirements:
","
17. BSc in General Nursing or equivalent.
","
18. Dementia experience is desirable.
","
19. Previous managerial training/experience is an advantage.
","
20. Registered on the NMBI live register.
