Director Of Operations Role Summary
This role has a national focus, working across various sectors and requiring travel throughout Ireland. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as experience in delivering security and cleaning contracts.
About The Role
* Lead day-to-day operations of the role portfolio
* Develop and implement process improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency
* Deliver security and cleaning contracts within single-service delivery and integrated services markets
* Proven experience in senior operational management roles managing multi-service lines, multiple sites, and people
* Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee day-to-day operations of the role portfolio
2. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency
3. Experience in delivering security and cleaning contracts within both single-service delivery and integrated services markets
4. Proven experience in senior operational management roles managing multi-service lines, multiple sites, and people
5. Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans
6. Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity
7. Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes
8. Review current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement
9. Build and maintain relationships with department heads, external partners, and vendors
10. Devise strategies to ensure growth of programs company-wide
Requirements
* A relevant Business Degree or equivalent experience
* Proven experience in senior leadership roles in an appropriate field
* Knowledge of multiple operational functions, including finance, customer service, operations, and people management
* A successful track record of operating at a strategic level, building strong client relationships, and value-based management
* Ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity
* Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legislative guidelines
* Ability to remove barriers and drive innovation throughout the organization
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
