OverviewOur Claims team processes millions of medical claims from 180 countries. Our team is diverse, with 60 nationalities processing claims in 28 languages. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated People Leader, who will manage a team of Claims Officers dedicated to key client accounts. The ideal candidate will have a background in people and performance management in a multicultural environment. Experience in health insurance is not a requirement. It’s more important that you can lead and motivate a team in a business that is growing and changing rapidly.This is a temporary role - 1 year.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and motivate a team of Claims Officers in our Dublin officeDrive team and individual performanceEnsure adequate staffing to meet demandSupply direction and insights to exceed service level goalsCoach, mentor and remove roadblocks for your teamCommunicate to management on performance, challenges and opportunities to improveProactively drive improvements and great customer service.Lead initiatives to drive employee engagement and developmentAdvocate an atmosphere of open, honest communicationWork effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data, analytics and cloud-based tools, using insights responsibly with our standards of data governance, security and ethical use.Key Requirements5 years’ experience in a people leadership roleAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced global environmentA second language is an advantage (German, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French)Ability to work independently, prioritise and meet deadlinesAbility to motivate a team and to lead by exampleStrong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Degree or equivalent is desirable
