Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer
A multi-skilled engineer is required to lead and coordinate all maintenance engineering activity, ensuring assets are safe, reliable, and performing at their best.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of reactive maintenance while actively reducing downtime through root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate all maintenance engineering activity to ensure assets are safe, reliable, and performing at their best.
* Take ownership of reactive maintenance while actively reducing downtime through root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
* Use Lean tools and structured problem-solving to improve uptime, efficiency, and maintenance effectiveness.
* Work closely with Production, Quality, and Health & Safety teams to keep operations running smoothly and safely.
Skill Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have 35 years experience in an FMCG or food manufacturing engineering environment. A recognized trade qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (additional qualifications or a degree are a bonus) as well as previous experience leading or supervising others formally or informally are also required.
The successful candidate should have a strong continuous improvement mindset along with relevant experience.
