Technical Business Development Engineer Role Overview
The Technical Business Development Engineer will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, and market research.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Generate new business opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, and market research.
2. Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing customers, managing their requirements and delivering tailored solutions.
3. Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications, providing expertise and recommendations to clients.
4. Oversight of projects from lead generation through to successful delivery ensuring timelines are met along with quality standards.
Maintain accurate up-to-date records within a CRM system. An individual in this role must possess excellent communication skills with both internal stakeholders engineers as well as external clients requiring strong interpersonal abilities such that you can build trust rapport. Experience with 3 D drawing software is required but proficiency in specific packages may vary depending on company needs Solid Works AutoCAD or equivalent being examples commonly seen.
This role demands strong technical problem-solving capabilities resulting in demonstration ability to secure sales developmental targets
