Job Title: Health and Safety Professional
The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, improving, and enhancing the site's safety management system. They will support managers in ensuring legislative compliance and improving health and safety in the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and improve the sites safety management system
- Conduct regular meetings with managers and supervisors
- Support managers in performing risk assessments and implementing corrective actions and continuous improvements
- Assist in the design of training plans and training courses
- Deliver health and safety inductions and other safety training as required
Requirements:
- Relevant third level qualification in Occupational Health & Safety
- Experience of working in a manufacturing/food production company is desirable
- Strong computer literacy - word, excel, PowerPoint etc and preferable experience in working with online management systems is preferred
- Ability to work on own initiative and possess strong interpersonal and communications skills
