Seeking a skilled and experienced
Technical Project Manager
to oversee the complete lifecycle of Internet of Things projects. This includes leading project planning, execution, and delivery across various domains like smart devices, industrial automation, and connected infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a crucial link between technical and business teams, ensuring projects meet key performance indicators (KPIs) for budget, timeliness, and quality while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
The role requires a blend of strategic planning and hands-on project management, including:
* Leading end-to-end delivery for complex IoT projects that involve hardware, firmware, cloud platforms, and applications.
* Collaborating with customers and various cross-functional teams, as well as external vendors and partners.
* Developing and maintaining customer relationships, providing status reports, and resolving any escalations.
* Creating detailed project plans, managing scope, budget, and resources, and tracking progress.
* Mentoring and managing project staff.
* Proactively identifying and resolving technical and operational issues.
* Ensuring best practices for security, scalability, and compliance are embedded throughout the solution lifecycle.
* Facilitating Agile/Scrum ceremonies and assisting with pre-sales activities.
* Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
Required:
* A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
* At least 5 years of project management experience
* A strong understanding of IoT architecture, including sensors, edge computing, communication protocols, and cloud platforms.
* Proven experience in delivering projects using Agile or hybrid methodologies.
* Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Experience in managing staff.
Preferred:
* Professional certifications such as PMP or Scrum Master (CSM/PSM).
* Experience with mobile app development for connected devices.
* Familiarity with cybersecurity and data privacy within IoT systems.
* Hands-on technical experience with hardware or embedded programming.
