Today, Villeroy & Boch is recognized globally for its commitment to quality and style, making it a trusted name in both residential and hospitality settings.KNOW THE ROLEExpected to take an active interest in the business, brand, and products, to continuously keep up to date with all relevant changes and communicate with our Guests / Customers about our CompanyTo help the store drive sales and achieve quarterly sales targets by maintaining a high level of customer serviceWelcome guests with a friendly approach and demonstrate the highest levels of customer service. Resolve customer issues and concernsUse effective selling techniques to build sales and achieve sales targetsAbility to help process deliveries in-store, in line with the company's health and safety policyEnsure high standards of cleanliness and good housekeeping on the sales floor and in stockroom areasDevelop and build knowledge of the store, and company stocks through the store management teamMaintain store standards regarding pricing, ticketing & current promotionsAdhere to all store procedures from the shop manual, including Health & Safety & ComplianceMerchandise goods in line with company guidelinesComplete other tasks and projects as requestedRegularly complete E-learning courses using the company E-learning portalKNOW WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORCustomer Service ExcellenceAbility to deliver a luxury retail experience aligned with Brown Thomas standardsWarm, approachable, and attentive communication styleSales SkillsProven ability to meet or exceed sales targetsSkilled in upselling and cross-selling complementary products (e.g., cutlery, glassware, dining accessories)Product KnowledgeStrong understanding of premium tableware, porcelain, and lifestyle productsAbility to explain features, care instructions, and heritage of the brand confidentlyVisual Merchandising AwarenessMaintain attractive displays to showcase products effectivelyEnsure the shop floor reflects luxury brand standardsOperational CompetenceHandling point-of-sale systems accuratelyManaging stock, replenishment, and assisting with inventory checksProfessionalism & PresentationImpeccable grooming and adherence to Brown Thomas dress codePunctual, reliable, and adaptable to a fast-paced retail environmentDesired Experience (Preferred but Not Essential)Luxury Retail Background: Prior experience in a premium or high-end retail setting (homeware, lifestyle, or fashion)Hospitality or Tableware Knowledge: Familiarity with dining etiquette and the art of table setting. Understanding of seasonal trends in dining and entertainingCRM & Clienteling Skills: Ability to build long-term relationships with customers.
