Investment Analyst - Private Debt (Dublin) A well-established international investment firm is seeking to appoint an Investment Analyst to join its European Private Debt team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their investment career who wants genuine exposure to live deals and long-term progression within investments. The team focuses on lending to mid-sized businesses across Ireland, the DACH region and wider Europe. You'll work closely with experienced investment professionals and be involved across the full deal lifecycle - from assessing new opportunities through to deal execution and portfolio monitoring. What you'll be doing You'll support senior team members on live transactions and portfolio activity, including: Reviewing company information, financials and due diligence materials Building financial models and running downside and scenario analysis Preparing investment papers for internal approval committees Researching comparable deals and broader market activity Assisting with term sheets, legal documentation and transaction closings Supporting the monitoring of existing portfolio investments Preparing investor presentations and internal reporting Maintaining deal trackers and transaction documentation This role offers broad exposure rather than a narrow remit, allowing you to develop strong technical skills alongside commercial judgement. What they're looking for A strong foundation in finance and financial analysis Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills A detail-focused, organised and proactive approach Someone curious, motivated and comfortable taking ownership A solid academic track record Fluent English is essential; business-level German would be a strong advantage Candidates from investment banking, leveraged finance, corporate finance, transaction services or similar analytical backgrounds would be particularly well suited.
