HR Consultant - Belfast - FTC (3 Months)MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a rapidly growing organisation to recruit an HR Consultant for a 3-month fixed-term contract based in Belfast. Role & ResponsibilitiesAs HR Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the HR function through a period of change and development. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will contribute to project-based work.Key responsibilities include:Review and update HR policies and employment contracts to align with revised benefits structures (e.g. company cars, mileage, expenses) following tax and compliance recommendationsWork closely with the Chartered Accountant and key stakeholders to ensure all changes are compliant with current tax legislation and regulatory requirementsTranslate findings into clear, practical HR and contractual updatesLead employee consultation process with approximately 50 staff, ensuring clear communication of changes and managing queries effectivelyDraft and issue updated contractual documentation, ensuring consistency and legal accuracy across all employee groupsProvide guidance to managers and leadership on the implementation of new benefits and policy changesSupport change management and ensure a smooth transition to updated terms and conditionsMaintain accurate documentation and ensure all changes are properly recorded and auditable The Ideal CandidateStrong generalist HR experience with a focus on employee relations, policy development and contract updatesProven experience reviewing and updating policies and benefits structures (e.g. expenses, mileage, company cars)Good understanding of employment law and tax implications of employee benefits, ideally with exposure to finance or external advisorsExperience leading employee consultations and communicating contractual changes clearly and effectivelyAble to manage a short-term project independently, working closely with stakeholders to deliver compliant and practical solutionsCIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable What's In It for You?Competitive salary (details available on request)Hybrid working model with flexible arrangementsExposure to a large, complex organisation undergoing transformationOpportunity to contribute to meaningful HR projectsPotential for longer-term career progression within the business To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up to date CV via the link provided or contact Katie Fox, Specialist Consultant at MCS Group on 02896935507 or email Even if this position is not right for you, we may have others that are.
