Role Overview
">The Business Process Architect will be a key member of the Global Process Team, reporting directly to the Head of Global Business Solutions. This individual will be responsible for understanding the company's business strategy, North Star operating vision, business imperatives, and capabilities, and how they affect technology imperatives and strategic initiatives.">
Key Responsibilities
">
">
* Manage a team that defines strategic, core, and support processes governing all functional and regional groups.
">
* Develop interaction models for people, resources, and controls within process constraints.
">
* Partner with business, global technical business solutions, GI Controls, and IT to ensure adoption of best practices and standardization of business architecture outputs across the company.
">
* Understand company business strategy, operating vision, business imperatives, and capabilities, and how they affect technology imperatives.
">
* Identify key challenges faced by sponsors and stakeholders.
">
* Define opportunities to create business value for the company.
">
* Develop specific business solutions and structures needed to realize these opportunities.
">
* Help define performance goals, metrics, and key milestones for proposed solutions.
">

Requirements
">
">
* Proven experience in strategic problem-solving, process improvement, business analysis, program and change management, and leading execution in complex cross-functional environments.
">
* Dynamic leadership skills, capable of executing successfully in ambiguous environments.
">
* Ability to persuade, communicate in written, presentation, and oral forms, and lead through influence.
">
* Strong emotional intelligence and ability to empathize with business stakeholders.
">
* Business and commercial acumen, including understanding of insurance industry.
">
* Several years of experience in management consulting, business operations, or process improvement roles.
">
* Experience managing teams.
">
* Insurance industry experience in commercial P&C preferred.
">
* Demonstrable experience standing up, leading, and managing complex projects and programs for senior leadership.
">
* Strong critical thinking and analytical reasoning (quantitative and qualitative) applied in problem-solving scenarios.
">
* Experience and expertise in applied process improvement methodologies, including process mapping, root cause analysis, re-engineering, etc.
">
* Lean Six Sigma black belt certification and Visio experience.
">
* Mastery of executive-level communications development and high degree of comfort working/communicating with senior business leaders.
">
* High degree of experience and comfort working with technology teams in design and execution.
">
