Business Development Manager Heat Pumps Ireland (Field-Based) OTE €90,000 A growing business in the heating and renewable energy sector is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive the adoption of heat pump solutions across Ireland. This role focuses specifically on domestic and commercial heat pump systems, supporting customers in transitioning to more efficient, low-carbon heating. Its an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships and delivering practical energy solutions. The Role Identify, develop and close new business opportunities for heat pump installations Manage the full sales cycle, from initial engagement through to project handover Build a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting, site visits and field-based activity Advise customers on heating system upgrades and energy efficiency solutions Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting Represent the business at relevant industry and trade events Work closely with technical and installation teams to ensure smooth delivery The Person 23+ years B2B sales experience, ideally within heating, construction, building services or energy Strong understanding of customer needs in property, facilities or heating systems Comfortable working independently in a field-based, target-driven role Confident communicator with experience managing multiple stakeholders Experience or interest in heat pumps or renewable heating is highly desirable Working Conditions Field-based role covering the Republic of Ireland Flexible / hybrid working model Full-time position Package Salary: €50,000€65,000 (OTE €80,000€90,000) Company car or car allowance Laptop, phone and remote working setup Pension, private medical insurance and additional benefits
