Health and Safety Professional Opportunity

This role presents an excellent chance for a skilled Health and Safety professional to develop their career in our dynamic team.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for managing Health and Safety responsibilities across various projects in the Buildings, Infrastructure and Energy divisions. You will work directly under the Health and Safety division Manager and collaborate with multiple teams and managed contractors.
\
The role involves providing construction Health and Safety services across projects in various sectors. Your core duties will include performing the role of Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) in accordance with the Safety Health & Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013 and all subsequent amendments.

In addition to Construction Health and Safety services, you will be involved in a large strategic energy project of national importance where Health and Safety input will be required in several areas, including reviewing existing Client Safety Procedures and developing Safety Philosophy, implementing Safety Philosophy, listing and reviewing Safety Guidelines and Standards, and developing a Technical Safety Management Framework.

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in delivering Health and Safety services on large complex building and infrastructure projects. Specific requirements include experience acting as Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) for large infrastructure projects involving multiple teams and managed contractors, a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, and a minimum of 10 years' post-graduate experience.

A sound understanding of the Safety Health & Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013 and all subsequent amendments, a strong report writing capability, leadership skills to plan, manage and direct multi-disciplinary teams and managed contractors, and a significant base of IT skills are essential.

You will also need to demonstrate a positive, proactive approach with the ability to adapt to changing scenarios, strong interpersonal/people skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team, self-motivation with the ability to work in an unstructured environment, and business effectiveness by leading by example.

Additionally, you must be committed to Continuous Professional Development (CPD), competence, and the public interest in all aspects of your work, including health, safety, risk, financial, commercial, legal, environmental, social, energy conservation, and sustainability.
