This full-time, permanent role is pivotal in ensuring the provision of exceptional technical support to both internal and external stakeholders while overseeing team performance, strategic development, and continuous improvement of technical operations. The Technical Services Manager will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, supporting accreditations, and contributing to the growth and innovation of the business.Key Responsibilities –Provide expert technical support and guidance to internal teams and customers, including troubleshooting issues and identifying opportunities for efficiency and improvement.Lead, manage, and develop the Technical Services Team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and supportive work environment.Oversee departmental performance, ensuring KPIs are met and service standards remain best-in-class.Support and maintain quality accreditations (ISO17025, ISO17034, ISO45001, ISO9001), including leadership of expansion projects and the continued development of the Metrology Centre.Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, New Product Introduction (NPI), and other departments to support product development aligned with customer needs.Investigate and report on technical customer complaints, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and effective resolution.Participate in internal and external audits, providing required documentation and technical insight.Lead or support strategic technical projects as assigned by the Country Manager or members of the Senior Leadership Team.Qualifications & Experience –Degree in Chemistry (PhD preferred).Broad scientific background with extensive customer interaction.Proven leadership experience managing high-performing technical or quality-focused teams.Strong understanding and working knowledge of ISO9001, ISO17025, and ISO17034 standards.In-depth technical knowledge with excellent troubleshooting abilities.Solid grasp of metrology and quality control processes.Personal Attributes –Excellent people management and leadership skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Methodical, scientific approach to problem-solving.High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative.Strategic thinker with the ability to deliver and manage complex projects.
