Electrical Engineer – Capital Projects

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer to support a major capital project at a leading pharmaceutical site in Co. Tipperary. This role will involve working closely with project stakeholders to ensure the design, installation, and handover of electrical systems meets all safety, compliance, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support electrical project delivery, including design reviews and validation
* Collaborate with design teams, contractors, and suppliers
* Oversee installation of systems such as LV distribution, MCCs, UPS, instrumentation, and fire detection
* Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and change control processes
* Contribute to project planning, safety culture, and handover to operations
Ideal Candidate:
* 5+ years’ experience in an electrical engineering role (preferably in pharma or similar sector)
* Strong knowledge of electrical power, control, and instrumentation systems
* Skilled in project scheduling, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration
* Familiar with project life cycles in operational plant environments
