Career Vision Recruiters have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, customer-focused individual to join our team as a Duty Manager in a well known Hotel in Co. Wexford. You will ensure that a consistent high standard and quality of service always exist with a specific focus on both Food and Beverage and Front of House with a knowledge of Opera systems.
Responsibilities
* To oversee departmental operations, including service efficiency, customer care standards, property maintenance and cleanliness
* To ensure that all staff conduct themselves in accordance to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual and hotel policy
* Ability to direct the team in all operational departments in their day-to-day duties
* Assist in the smooth running of Front of House, F&B Operations in the hotel
* To maintain control over the cash on the premises (floats, cash registers, the back safe)
* To handle any complaints that may arise ensuring that each complaint is handled in a professional manner that complies with the hotel policy
* Ensure quality and standards are met consistently throughout all departments
* Anticipate guest needs, and proactively manage their expectations.
* To ensure that the food and beverage department is operating within the food and hygiene regulations (HACCP)
* To log any accidents or incidents that may occur to patrons or employees of the hotel in the Duty Managers hand over diary and accident / incident report forms
* To assist the senior management team to assess and improve hotel processes and procedures
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Duty Manager or F&B Supervisor (Minimum of 2 years)
* Possess excellent customer service skills.
* Be passionate about the hospitality industry
* Excellent communication & organisational skills
* Be a team player
* Available for evening and weekend work
