Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Meet with identified members of the Roma Community and record their folklore, stories, and songs.
Promote a greater sense of pride within the Roma Community of its culture and traditions through arts, cultural projects, and festivals.
Build Roma pride, self-esteem, and identity.
Arts/Culture and Music Education – all aspects of the Arts and Heritage of the community.
Providing quality and knowledge of Music skills.
Administrative duties to add Knowledge about Arts and Culture in the community.
Being involved in planning and evaluating activities.
Developing your own skills & knowledge in effective Heritage.
Representing and supporting Roma individuals with literacy or advocacy needs.
Promoting Roma heritage through storytelling, exhibitions, or language-based projects.
Collaborating with external agencies and cultural bodies.
Learning how to train others in heritage topics and advocacy techniques.
Understanding and supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in community settings.
