* Key Responsibilities:
* Independently perform tool installation tasks, including mechanical assembly, electrical connections, and robot calibrations, from initial setup to final testing, with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address any issues.
* FOLLOW ALL PROCEDURES RIGIDLY AND ENSURE CORRECT SOPs AND SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE PRIOR TO PERFORMING INSTALLATIONS.
* Evaluate system installations to ensure they meet procedures satisfactorily through testing of equipment, with assistance from senior engineers, existing documentation, and diagnostic techniques.
* Respond to fab issues by communicating with other engineers and participating in escalation conference calls.
* Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce installation cycle time and costs.
* Provide accurate reporting of status, hours worked, and non-conformances.
* Adhere to the safety and security policy and quality standards of the client and its customers.
* Requirements:
* Technician, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in mechanical assembly, equipment installation, maintenance, mechatronics, electronics, electrical, mechanical, or similar technical background.
* Experience or knowledge with CVD/CMP/EPI tools would be advantageous but is not required.
* Troubleshooting skills to solve mechanical and electrical problems during system installation.
* Able to communicate efficiently through daily pass-downs and equipment status reports.
* Project management skills to control installation project within budget, timeline, and installation quality requirements.
* Able to work autonomously.
* Confident in English to work with colleagues and experts from all over the world and to read plant documentations and schematics. Company language is English.
* Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
* The position requires extensive travel throughout Europe, up to 90%.

Interview Process:
Interviews held via Microsoft Teams, usually during evening hours, as our clients' hiring team for this position is based in their USA office.
2nd Round interview face-to-face, including a practical mechanical and electrical hands-on assessment & competency-based questions.

* Are you eligible to work in Ireland and other European countries with the correct visa and work permit setup?

* Have you got accommodation close to Kildare in Ireland for the periods of which you will be working at our clients' Irish customer base?
* Have you the ability to travel for 90% of the time to customer sites across the European region – France, Italy, Germany, and Ireland, and on occasion, further afield?
