Role Overview
We're expanding our operations to meet growing demand across Europe, and this role will help us maintain efficiency and excellent customer service as we scale. The Operation's Coordinator will support day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring smooth coordination between carriers, shipping lines, warehouse partners, and customers. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational
· Assist in arranging international shipments by sea or road.
· Monitor shipment status and update internal systems.
· Liaise with carriers, shipping lines, and warehouse/distribution partners.
· Maintain accurate records of shipments and documentation.
· Input details into freight systems.
· Track and update costs; assist with invoicing and costing.
· Work as part of a team and independently as required.
Customer Service
· Provide timely updates to customers about shipment progress.
· Respond to customer inquiries and resolve basic operational issues.
· Assist with quotes and rate requests when needed.
Skills Needed
Essential
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
Basic knowledge of logistics, supply chain, Incoterms
Experience in an office or administrative environment.
Foreign language skills.
