Reporting directly to the CFO, the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the finance agenda while benefiting from a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Key ResponsibilitiesLead month-end and year-end close processesManage, coach and develop a finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset register.Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activitiesSupport cash flow reporting and treasury activities.Prepare statutory financial statements and act as the primary contact for external auditors.Ensure compliance with all relevant tax, statutory reporting and financial control requirements.Support senior finance leadership with management reporting, financial analysis and strategic finance projects.Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems, controls and reporting frameworks.Contribute to the development and implementation of best-practice financial governance and operational efficiency initiatives.Qualifications & ExperienceQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).Significant post‑qualification experience, including experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance leadership role. 5+ years ideally.Proven track record of managing and developing finance teams.Experience working with ERP systemsExperience within a manufacturing or similarly complex business environment is desirable.
