About your new job as a Site Trainer: The Site Trainer will be primarily responsible for delivering effective on-site training as outlined in the Job Description, while also supporting the HR Manager in identifying and coordinating impactful training initiatives to maintain and enhance the skills of all employees.
Your duties and responsibilities:
* Assist with onboarding by delivering effective induction and orientation for new employees
* Support the rollout of new tools, technologies, and work practices across the site
* Collaborate with the HR Manager and area supervisors/managers to develop capability matrices, identify skills gaps, and address single points of failure through targeted plans
* Assist in preparation for and participation in customer and quality audits
* Contribute to Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and CAPA processes for production and quality-related issues
* Provide support to the Design Engineering team during prototype development
* Plan and deliver hands-on training sessions, ensuring participants gain practical experience in the handling, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic systems and equipment
* Stay informed on current electronic technologies, industry standards, and regulations to ensure training materials remain relevant and compliant
What skill/experience you need as a Site Trainer
* Must be certified, or willing to become certified, to deliver IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 training, along with other relevant certifications as required
* Prior experience in delivering certified training, assessing training needs, and managing training programs is highly desirable
* Should demonstrate a strong interest in training and a passion for helping others develop and succeed
* Solid understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and practices
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Experience working in an electronics production and/or design environment is essential
* Experience in an EN9100-certified company is desirable; experience working in an ISO-certified environment is required
