Communicate details from drawings, specifications, and project documents to foremen, operatives, and subcontractors.
Conduct material testing as instructed by your supervisor/line manager, in line with relevant specifications.
Maintain accurate site records, including daily activities, key information, and notable occurrences.
Track and report progress of works, including subcontractor performance, to management.
Take a proactive approach to personal development by completing training and development programmes on time.
Perform all tasks in accordance with health and safety standards, and challenge or report unsafe practices.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships across all levels of the project team.
Regularly inspect and maintain setting out instruments and testing equipment.
Contribute to project profitability through efficient work practices, attention to detail, and reducing rework.
Follow instructions and participate in meetings as required.
Key skills required Degree in engineering or similar Minimum of 2 years experience in setting out or as a Site Engineer Experience working with a main contractor, subcontractor or developer.
Good understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental regulations Excellent communication skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project, Power Point, etc.
