We RecruitNet International are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON)/General Manager/Person In Charge (PIC) toour Nursing Home client in Dublin. Responsibilities
* As the Person in Charge (PIC), as defined by the Health Act of 2007 and HIQA regulations, assume complete accountability.
* Assure a positive work environment and high morale by exercising strong, visible leadership over employees.
* Help create and carry out operational and strategic plans for the house.
* Make certain that resources are used effectively and efficiently.
* Make certain that residents always receive excellent, person-centered care.Manage risk assessments, care planning, and the provision of individualized services.
* Keep an eye on incident handling, clinical governance, and safety procedures.
* Encourage ongoing efforts to improve quality.
* Continue to adhere strictly to HIQA policies, procedures, and standards.
* Take the lead in getting ready for and responding to HIQA audits and inspections.
* Preserve any records and reports that are mandated by legal requirements.
Requirements
* Possess an active PIN and be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
* Within the last six years, at least three years of experience in a managerial capacity in a hospital setting.
* Thorough familiarity with the Health Act of 2007, HIQA standards, and pertinent statutory requirements.
* Demonstrated managerial and leadership skills in a medical setting.
* Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and decision-making abilities.
* Demonstrated capacity to motivate and lead groups of people to provide high-quality care.
