Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Biotech Associate to join our self-directed shift team at our state-of-the-art single-use multiproduct biotech facility in Dunboyne. In this role, you will be responsible for executing batch operations, identifying and resolving issues to ensure our site meets patient needs. You will work within a culture that prioritizes Quality, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Learning, and Continuous Improvement. You will have a tertiary qualification in a technical, engineering, or science-based discipline, along with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry. Experience with manufacturing automation systems, such as DeltaV or MES PAS-X, is preferred.

What You Will Do

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following:

* Produce biologic drug substance as part of the designated shift team, including preparation, operation, and monitoring of equipment.
* Utilize business systems to perform tasks such as cleaning, validation, and in-process testing.
* Progress automated recipes using paperless technology for drug substance generation, filtration, and purification.
* Set up single-use equipment between runs and execute production processes in compliance with GMP and EHS standards.
* Optimize processing activities through standard work and lean processing techniques.
* Commit to patient delivery by fostering a culture of safety, ensuring "right first time" execution, and focusing on personal and peer development.

What Skills You Will Need

* In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:
* Science qualification in a technical, engineering, or science-based discipline (or equivalent).
* 1 to 3 years of experience in the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry (or equivalent).
* Preferred experience with manufacturing automation systems (e.g., DeltaV, MES PAS-X).
* Experience in a highly regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
* Good understanding of biologic drug substance production; relevant experience is an advantage.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a shift team and independently.
* Strong logical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills under pressure.
* Flexible and self-motivated.
