About the Role:We have an immediate vacancy for a Contracts Manager to join our Contracts Team based in the West of Ireland. As a Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring project development, implementation and completion is achieved within the specified programme. You will work closely with the Project Management team and oversee the coordination and operation of the site to deliver key project milestones and successful project completion. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to excel their career and get involved in projects throughout the West of Ireland.Roles and Responsibilities:Overall responsibility for delivery of MEICA Contracts in the West of IrelandProject manage all aspects of water and wastewater pumping and treatment installations primarily focused on Mechanical/Electrical/ICA requirements with minor civil works includedOn Contract award, review tender submissions and develop plan for contract deliveryAssign tenders won to appropriate PM for DeliveryAssist with smooth transition from Tendering to Contract Delivery TeamTake the lead on Contract Design, considering innovative solutions and opportunities for off- site manufactureLead & mentor a team of engineers in the delivery of new & existing contractsOversee commercial matters arising during Contract delivery – from supporting Project engineers with procurement from supply chain, negotiating subcontracts to managing commercial matters with ClientsMonitoring Project programmes for multiple contractsCo-ordinating regular Contract review meetings with the contracts TeamEnsuring monthly invoicing targets are being achievedCreating project programme and ensuring that all required project interfaces are allowed for from design to final site commissioning & handoverLiaising & co-ordinating all works with the Client and relevant stakeholdersManagement of all site labour including subcontractorsEnsuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budgetWriting engineering reports, reviewing method statements and commissioning schedulesEnsuring procedures are in place which facilitate the safe delivery of ContractsManaging & Updating monthly Project TrackerAttending and input into overall EPS Contracts growth and Business development strategyAttend regular meetings with full EPS MEICA Contracts Leadership TeamSkills / Attributes:Proven experience & ability to manage, mentor and improve team membersProficiency in PC skillsExcellent inter-personal skills and communication skillsExperience in mechanical & electrical design and ability to review and interpret specificationsExperience and knowledge of various process designs in the Water & Wastewater Treatment sector would be an advantageProven track record in delivery of projects with a mechanical & electrical focusStrong collaborative skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environmentHave a willingness to learn and be challenged in the water and wastewater IndustryProven experience in delivery of projects with strong emphasis on H & SEducation Requirements:Third level Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering degree/DiplomaSimilar relevant degree or Mechanical or Electrical craft BackgroundAdditional Requirements:Full clean driving licenceExperience in a similar roleBenefits:Salary and terms will be competitive and negotiable depending on the candidate and their experienceLaptop or desktop and work mobile phone provided with roleSee company website for more information on the benefits of working in EPSCompensation Package:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional development and career growthA collaborative and supportive work environmentLaptop or desktop and work mobile phone provided.See company website for more information on the benefits of working in EPS Group.We welcome speculative applications from individuals of all levels.
