About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social work principles and be registered with CORU. Alternatively, they may possess a recognised qualification in social care, child care, nursing, or youth work. A postgraduate qualification in safeguarding, child protection, and welfare is also desirable.

Responsibilities
The Safeguarding Manager's duties include:
* Developing and implementing safeguarding policies and procedures;
* Conducting investigations into safeguarding allegations and complaints;
* Providing training and guidance to staff on safeguarding best practices;
* Maintaining accurate records of safeguarding incidents and investigations;

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role with safeguarding responsibilities;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* A strong understanding of GDPR and associated legislation;
* Experience of working at a mid/senior management level.

Working Arrangements
This is a hybrid role based in Dublin, with occasional travel required. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:30, with 37.5 hours per week.
