Ayrton Group are seeking a Technical Lead to join our client, a large utilities organisation, on an ongoing project. This role will be based out of the client's Limerick office and lab, but will require weekly travel to other locations for site/lab visits and meetings.
This is a 12 month contract role with the potential for further extension.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing ongoing Health and Safety support.
* Managing day to day labs.
* Approval of Risk Assessments / Operational Procedures.
* Ensuring Risk Assessment / Operational Procedures are in line with Safety Management System.
* Visiting various labs and sites as required, weekly.
* Documentation Management, including version control, change management and controlled distribution.
* Provide reports on output and with relevant information for reporting up the line.
* Provide support in the delivery of other related Health and Safety projects.
* Set high standards, by encouraging others to embed a HSQE culture.
* Perform other duties as required from time to time.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum Diploma in Safety, Health, and Welfare at Work or equivalent.
* Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar position.
* Previous experience on Utilities projects is preferred.
* Varied experience in other sectors such as Construction would be beneficial.
* Previous experience in report writing and collation of information for KPI's, safety metrics, presentations etc.
* Strong ability to prioritise tasks, work with schedules, and manage resources while remaining focused on main goals.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* You must be legally permitted to live and work in Ireland.
* Full driver's license and vehicle.
