Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Dublin South & Dublin North
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: Up to €100,000 plus a company package

Your New Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial and contractual management of multiple residential developments from pre-construction through to final account. You will work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting for residential developments
* Manage procurement processes including tendering, contract negotiation, and appointment of subcontractors
* Oversee valuations, variations, and cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle
* Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage risk effectively
* Provide commercial input into design development and value engineering
* Mentor junior members of the commercial team and support their professional growth
* Liaise with project managers, site teams, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
* Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management
This is a strategic role that offers the opportunity to influence key decisions and contribute to the continued success of a respected developer.
Requirements
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline
* Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a quantity surveying role, ideally within residential development
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts
* Proven track record in cost management, procurement, and contract administration
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
* Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., CostX, Excel, project management tools)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
* Full driving license and willingness to travel to project sites as required
