This is a hands-on role focused on creating, managing and optimising digital content across social media, email marketing and our e-commerce website.This role will suit someone with practical, applied experience in digital content creation and social media management who enjoys working independently, understands commercial goals, and can translate products and services into clear, engaging online content.About Irish Building SupplyIrish Building Supply is a family-run, independent builders merchants supplying quality building materials to the Greater Dublin Area for over 55 years. Wicklow.Key Responsibilities:Digital Content & Social MediaPlan, create and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Meta platformsCapture, edit and publish short-form video, imagery and written content aligned with business goals (B2B focus)Write strong, clear captions and short-form copy that supports sales and brand positioningManage content calendars and social media management toolsMonitor performance and engagement and suggest improvementsCapture occasional on-site content (products, behind-the-scenes, short tutorials)E-Commerce & Website SupportSupport day-to-day management of the e-commerce websiteUpload and maintain product listings, descriptions and basic website contentAssist with SEO, including keyword optimisation and product page improvementsMonitor website traffic and basic performance metricsEmail MarketingCreate and schedule email newsletters (Mailchimp or similar platform)Support promotional and informational campaigns aimed at B2B customersEssential Requirements (Non-Negotiable)Applicants must have:Hands-on experience using Canva (or alternative platform) for digital content creationExperience managing social media using Meta and TikTok platformsExperience with LinkedIn and email marketing platforms (Mailchimp or similar)Practical experience managing social media accounts for a business (not personal use only)Experience updating website or e-commerce content (products, pages, SEO basics)Strong written communication skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesExperience in MS Office - particularly Outlook and ExcelAvailability & Location RequirementsAvailable to work 16–24 hours per weekAvailable for a minimum of 8 morning hours per week between 9:30am–1:30pm (Monday–Thursday) for collaboration and meetingsAvailable to attend weekly online meetingsAble to attend on-site work approx. 1 day per month in:Dún Laoghaire, Co.
