Line of ServiceInternal Firm ServicesIndustry/SectorNot ApplicableSpecialismIFS - Information Technology (IT)Management LevelSenior AssociateJob Description & SummaryPwC Ireland is seekingan experienced and highly motivated Business Analyst Senior Associateto join our dynamic Business Analysis Team in Tech Central within the Business Enablement Solutions (BES) line of service.The successful candidate will support the successful implementation of large-scale systems and emerging technologies, including Generative AI (GenAI) solutionsto support transformation change projects and continuous improvement across all lines of serviceincluding BES, Tax, Assurance and Consulting.Key Responsibilities:Support the delivery ofbusiness analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment between business needs and technology solutions.Collaborate with stakeholders, and internal teams to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for complex projects involving GenAI and other innovative technologies.Support the delivery of process analysis workshops with internal stakeholders to map current state processes, identifypain points, and design future state improvements leveraginginnovative technologiesto optimise business workflows and enhance operational efficiency.Supportdevelopment teams and external vendors in the translation ofbusiness requirements into technical specifications.Support the implementation of large-scale systems, working withmultidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions that meet regulatory and business objectives.Engage and subscribe totheculture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharingwithin the team and internal stakeholders.Appreciate and consider project risks, issues, and dependencies related to business analysis and solution delivery.Education/Professional Qualifications:Candidates must hold a third level qualification in an IT related discipline. A focus on AI, machine learning or natural language processing would be advantageous. Candidates should hold abusiness analysis certification in one or more of the following:CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis)PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis)Agile Business Analyst Certification (e.g., PMI-ACP, ICAgileCertified Professional)Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean certificationProject management certifications will be advantageoussuch as PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner and/or PMI-PMP.Experience Required:5yearsof progressive business analysis experience.Proven track recordin the delivery ofprocess analysis workshops, process mapping, business process analysis, and leading process improvement initiatives leveragingtechnology.Proven experience in AI, automation, or technology enablement within tax, finance, or related professional services.Experience in implementing large-scale technology solutions, ideally within professional services environments.Demonstrated experience with Generative AI (GenAI) solutions implementation is highly advantageous.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills, with a collaborative approach to working with developers and vendors.Understanding of Tax, Assurance, and/or Consulting business processes and regulatory frameworks is advantageous.Experience working within professional services firmsadvantageous.Skills:Effective communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to support workshops and meetings confidently.Developing strategic awareness and a keen interest in learning about innovation and process improvement.Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at various levels, demonstratingprofessionalism and curiosity.Reliable team player who builds rapport and contributes to a positive working environment.Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifyingand escalating issues.Open to new ideasand adaptable to change, showing good judgement in day-to-day problem solving.Committed to continuous personal and professional growth, seekingto expand skills and contribute actively to team success.Adaptable and open to new ideas, showing sound judgement when responding to change or ambiguity in day-to-day work.*Enjoy PwC's perks*We reward your impact, and support your wellbeing, through a competitive compensation package, inclusive employee benefits and flexibility programs that will help you thrive in work and life.
