The Latchi Watersports group in Cyprus is seeking a full-time Parasailing Captain to offer safe operation of our parasailing vessel, ensure guest safety and provide exceptional customer service. This role requires a passion for water-based activities, a commitment to creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. It will involve working long hours outdoors. You must have experience of driving Parasailing boats during flights.
Role Overview:
Fantastic opportunity for an experienced captain to take charge of one boat and one crew, and progress within this exciting company. The ideal candidate must be able to keep calm, listen, and perform under pressure. Can be a fast-paced job, depending on the daily guest count. Must be an expert multi-tasker. Progression options up to commercial captain for our charter yachts, in the longer-term.
Our company
The Latchi Watersports group is a large independent company based in the North West of Cyprus. We specialise in many different aspects of the water world, including scuba diving, watersports, boat rental, luxury yacht charter, marine servicing and RYA training courses.
Main responsibilities include:
* Ensure the safe operation of our parasail boat, including docking, inflating and retrieving parasails.
* Ensure guest safety by providing clear safety briefings, instructions and applying safety equipment.
* Provide a fun and professional atmosphere that gains trust from the guests.
* Assist with maintaining and cleaning vessels, equipment and gear to ensure operational readiness and safety.
* Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
* Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies and local Cyprus regulations.
* Assist with other areas of the business, such as boat rentals and marina operations.
The ideal candidate will:
* Be highly motivated with a strong work ethic and excellent customer relations experience.
* Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Demonstrate the ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Have at least two years experience as a parasailing captain
* Prove excellent boat handling skills
