**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled leader to join our operations team as an Arena Operations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals who work together to ensure that our customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition.
Main Responsibilities:
* Create and maintain a culture of safety and wellbeing among team members.
* Analyse performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance quality and productivity.
* Oversee projects aimed at streamlining processes and increasing quality of service.
* Collaborate with colleagues to standardize shift practices and improve operational excellence.
A Typical Day:
You will work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, ensuring that it is productive and efficient. Your main focus will be to own and drive a culture of safety and uphold quality and shift performance standards. You will also oversee process improvements within your area and drive implementation.
About the Team:
We are Amazon Logistics, a team that handles 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilize creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers. Our goal is to make our customers' delivery experience as smooth as possible and roll out global delivery solutions for our newest concepts.
Key Qualifications:
1. A degree in a relevant field.
2. Relevant experience in people management.
3. Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and local language.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques; experience working in another logistics environment; relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment.
