In the Supplier Quality Engineering Department you will focus on Post‑Market Supplier Quality, ensuring suppliers deliver the highest quality parts, materials, and services to support Medtronic’s reliable products.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure that suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services.Monitor parts from acquisition through the manufacturing cycle and communicate and resolve supplier‑related problems as they occur.Drive supplier improvement and corrective action by working with the supply base based on incoming inspection, Medtronic/supplier internal metrics, and customer complaints.Coordinate and monitor the change control process, including review and approval, to meet performance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.Review and prepare test plans and reports (qualification, validation) for change and improvement activities.Provide technical assistance to suppliers and other resources performing qualification/validation testing.Ensure resolution of all issues raised during testing/qualification.Manage supplier‑initiated changes to maintain part compliance and prevent negative impact on supply continuity.Build a collaborative relationship with suppliers to quickly address non‑conformances, conduct root‑cause investigations, implement corrective actions, and monitor results.Collaborate with operating platforms to address issues and gain alignment when required.Support supplier visits or audits as required.Lead systematic approaches with suppliers and sub‑tier suppliers to ensure stability related to medical device quality.Provide statistical support by creating supplier‑related metrics for tracking vendor performance and identifying improvement opportunities.Define receiving inspection requirements and validate associated test methods for internal Medtronic test methods.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.At least 2 years of engineering and/or quality experience in the medical industry or a related field.Dynamic team player who works effectively and proactively on cross‑functional teams.Excellent problem‑solving skills.Good communicator, fluent in English (both verbal and written).BenefitsCompetitive salary with a pay range of 49,920.00EUR – 74,880.00EUR for Ireland.Flexible benefits package.Eligibility for a short‑term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).Equal Employment OpportunityMedtronic is an equal employment opportunity (EEO) employer and provides employment opportunities regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status regarding public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
