Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist

Waterford, MI — Full Time. We are expanding our team of SLPs who support students throughout Michigan.
\
This position is in one building with a manageable caseload for an SLP to work directly with students K-8th grade.
\
Responsibilities:
\
\
1. Evaluate students' speech-language abilities to prepare and conduct treatment plans.
\
2. Provide high-quality direct speech-language therapy services according to IEPs.
\
3. Conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop reports on strengths and concerns in areas such as speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills.
\
4. Use professional literature, evidence-based research, and continuing education to inform practice decisions.
\
5. Create an efficient learning environment with effective process management and transition materials.
\
6. Participate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetings.
\
7. Develop strength-based, child- and family-centered treatment plans in collaboration with instructional staff.
\
8. Ensure evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery align with school, state, and federal guidelines.
\
9. Assist and guide teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected or identified speech and language delays/disorders.
\
10. Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
\
\
11. Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
\
12. Valid MI SLP license.
\
