Our team is seeking a Claims Process Specialist to join our dynamic Claims Department. This role will be based in the Claims department and will involve reviewing claim handling controls, processes, and procedures for motor claims handling services outsourced to third-party administrators and Fronting partners across Europe.
Job Description:
* Review Ayvens Insurance's claim handling suppliers in accordance with the Claims Control Review plan and ensure they meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
* Execute Claim Control Reviews in line with the Claims Control Review Plan, focusing on identifying potential areas of claims cost savings and following up on any corrective actions or initiatives identified.
* Prepare reports documenting the findings of Claims Control Reviews and monitor/manage claim handlers' implementation of agreed actions for resolving performance issues and achieving cost savings.
* Monitor and analyze monthly claims data to identify trends or anomalies that may impact expected performance.
* Ensure claim handling suppliers meet SLA/contractual requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A good knowledge of motor insurance claims, including Personal Injury, Property Damage, Fire, Theft, Total Loss, and Glass.
* Experience in claims litigation.
* An understanding of motor claims in a European context, including the 4th Directive and Green Card.
* Primary degree preferably in Business, Law, or Insurance.
* Professional Insurance qualification (minimum CIP or 'Grandfathered').
* Excellent numeric and analytical skills.
* Excellent written and oral communication.
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Individual must be highly organized and able to meet strict reporting deadlines.
* Team player who will play an important role as part of a small, highly specialized team.
* Fluent in English with an additional European language being desirable.
