We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior New Business Consultant to join our team in Cork. As a key member of our Employee Benefits and Financial Planning unit, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice on pre and post-retirement products, protection, and pensions to prospective clients.
* Meet with clients to identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and engage in project work.
* Provide expert financial planning and employee benefits advice to our new and existing client base.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
* Pursue new business opportunities through internal and external channels, driving growth and revenue for the organization.
* Work closely with the team to achieve agreed targets and goals while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
* Previous consultative financial planning or employee benefits experience is essential.
* You must hold the QFA qualification or be working towards the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification, or have a Higher Diploma in Pensions Management leading to AIIPM qualification.
* Strong interpersonal skills, including building and maintaining solid client relationships, are crucial.
* A strong history of delivering on agreed sales targets is required.
* Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements is necessary.
* A background in generating leads from a Corporate client base is beneficial.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills, as well as the ability to build strong internal relationships, trust, and credibility, are essential.
* Teamwork and a focus on working collaboratively with others are vital.
* At least 3 years' experience in the industry is preferred.
* A full driver's license is required.
