IT Asset Manager - Circa Per Day Negotiable Remote Working mainly with one day onsite every 2/3 weeks in Dublin, Ireland.
6 Month Initial Contract About the role Irish government semi-state organisation requires an experienced IT Asset Manager to help with the restructuring of their IT Management Infrastructure.
A key requirement for the IT Asset Manager is a significant level of experience with both ServiceNow and SolarWinds as the successful candidate will be required to design and implement a system wherein both tools can effectively communicate with each other.
This role can be offered on either a Hybrid basis - With two days per week in the office, or on a 90% remote basis, with the IT manager required to be onsite one day every 2-3 weeks.
While the role is initially offered on a 6-month contract basis, the scale and scope of the current project is such that there is a strong probability of the contract being offered well beyond this date.
Essential Candidate Requirements Third Level Degree in Computer Science, Business or other area relevant to the role.
ITIL, IAITAM or other equivalent Certification 5 years' experience in It Operations Management with a focus on IT asset management.
Proficiency in designing, deploying and managing IT Asset Management solutions including integration with Servicenow and Solarwinds.
This should also cover data mapping and development of field-level requirements for integration into Servicenow CMDB.
Knowledge of implementing and maintaining IT asset tracking, inventory management, and software licensing solutions.
Knowledge of creation and maintenance of dashboards, alerts, and reports to provide Real Time insights into assets.
Hands on experience with implementing Asset Management processes, to manage the life cycle of IT assets from procurement to disposal.
Experience of working closely with cross-functional teams, including IT infrastructure, security, and application teams, to ensure seamless integration and operation of IT Asset Management Knowledge of Integration of CMDB processes with change management to ensure all changes to CIS are accurately recorded and tracked.
