Surgical SHOs and Registrars
for locum & standalone positions across hospitals in Ireland. These flexible roles offer a variety of contract durations - short/long-term.
Key Responsibilities:
* Patient Care:
Deliver comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care, including patient assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing monitoring of surgical patients.
* Ward Duties:
Actively participate in daily surgical ward rounds, providing patient updates and ensuring continuity of care.
* Surgical Assistance:
Assist Consultants and Registrars during surgical procedures, gaining hands-on experience in the operating theatre.
* Emergency Surgical Care:
Manage and assist with emergency surgical admissions, including the evaluation and management of acute surgical cases.
* Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
Work closely with Consultants, Registrars, Nurses, and Allied Health Professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
* On-Call Duties:
Participate in the on-call rota, providing cover for both emergency and elective surgical patients as required.
* Documentation:
Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely records of all surgical procedures, patient care plans, and clinical progress.
Requirements:
* Full
General Registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)
.
* Experience working in Ireland previously.
* Excellent surgical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
* Ability to perform in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
* Flexibility to work across multiple sites in Ireland.
* Eligibility to work in Ireland
(Irish/EU/UK passport or Stamp 4).
