Store Manager – Cork
Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager for our client's retail store in Co. Cork. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven retail professional to take charge of all aspects of store operations, from managing staff, ensuring outstanding customer service to optimising overall store performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience, maintaining high operational standards, and driving sales growth, all while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Salary: €50k – €55k
Responsibilities:
1. Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of a busy retail store
2. Effectively manage staff and motivate them to meet and exceed KPIs
3. Analyse and understand daily, weekly, and monthly reports regarding sales, waste, and margins to ensure the growth of the store
4. Ensuring that all regulations and standards are met regarding HACCP, food safety, stock control and waste management
5. Reviewing staff performance regularly, creating staff rosters, and ensuring overall high standards of the store
Requirements:
6. Proven experience in managing a convenience or retail store
7. Strong sales orientation with a track record of driving sales and achieving targets
8. Proficient in using store management systems and technology
9. Excellent leadership and people management skill
10. Experience in training, developing, and recruiting staff
11. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
12. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
