Location
The BEO Services is a community-based, person-centred service focusing on the needs and abilities of adults with intellectual disabilities. The goal is to support individuals to achieve a full and valued life in their community, continually reviewing support methods in line with international best practices. The service aims to partner with individuals and their families to plan their services, fostering valued social roles and friendships.
The Role
The Team Leader will manage the service daily, providing leadership and supervision to ensure person-centred service delivery. They will ensure that each person's life reflects the organisation’s core values and personal outcome measures, including dignity, respect, sharing ordinary places, growing in relationships, and making contributions.
The initial work location will be a residential service in a local community, subject to change based on service needs.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills
* Registered Nurse (RNID/RNMH) with current NMBI or HETAC/NQAI registration, or a BA in Applied Social Studies (Disability)/Social Care, with eligibility for registration on the Social Care Register at CORU by 30th November 2025. Verify qualifications at CORU website.
* Management qualification is desirable.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience working with people with intellectual disabilities, including managing behaviours that challenge and complex needs, goal setting, and programme implementation.
* Experience in staff supervision and up-to-date knowledge of relevant policy and legislation.
* Strong leadership, management, planning, goal setting, and review skills.
* Ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, confidentiality, and effective communication.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development.
* Full clean manual driving license and ability to drive manual vehicles, with own car preferred.
Working Hours
Based on a 7-day duty roster, with hours depending on grade (78 hours/fortnight for SC grade, 75 hours/fortnight for CNM1). Sleep-in/night duties and ‘On Call’ responsibilities may be required, with allowances paid accordingly. Flexibility is expected to meet service needs.
Remuneration
Salary based on the attached scale for the relevant grade. This is a permanent, full-time, pensionable position with a nine-month probation period, which may be extended or terminated if necessary. The position is open to equal opportunity employment.
