JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
POSITION TITLE: Senior Match Day Operations and Events Executive
ROLE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The successful candidate will assist the Head of Match Day Operations and Events for all match day events and will be responsible for the successful delivery of all senior rugby match day events in Energia Park, the Laya Arena, Aviva Stadium, and Croke Park, as well as ad hoc Leinster Rugby events throughout the year.
Working across all aspects of match day event operations and stadium services, the successful candidate will be required to work with multiplate stakeholder groups, both internally and externally, to ensure the efficient and effective running of all match day and related events.
You will be expected to establish yourself as a trusted and reliable liaison to successfully deliver simultaneous events to a high standard and ensure agreed targets are met on time and within budget.
A creative thinker, you will be required to be both proactive and responsive when it comes to promoting Leinster Rugby's brand and contributing to an enhanced spectator and fan experience at all Leinster Rugby events.
Please note this role will require working outside of normal office hours including working weekends at Leinster Rugby's events throughout the year.

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential:
8. 4 years' experience in an operations and events management
9. Proactive, positive, and helpful manner
10. Excellent organisational and communication skills
11. In-depth experience planning and executing events across a wide range of venues
12. Applicants must have the legal right to work in Ireland at the time of application
13. Strong understanding of event planning and health and safety regulations
14. Proven experience managing multiple and diverse stakeholder groups
15. Strong administrative, analytical, organisational, and negotiation skills
16. Good IT Skills and proficient in all Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
17. Full clean drivers' licence and access to own vehicle with valid NCT
18. Strong administration and planning ability

20. Self-sufficient and able to manage their own workload on a daily basis

RESPONSIBILITIES:
28. Manage, deliver, and assist in the coordination of all Leinster Rugby match day events across large stadium venues at all home fixtures - Energia Park, Laya Arena, Aviva Stadium, and Croke Park
29. Attend all home match days and other events to ensure the events run smoothly
30. Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget
31. Assist and develop the best in match day experience for Leinster Rugby's fans and supporters
32. Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
33. Manage all running orders, accreditation, staffing, and parking lists
34. Manage and fulfil match day accreditations for all events
35. Assist at pre-event meetings and circulate match day running orders and EMPs
36. Co-ordinate content for big screen including running orders
37. Co-ordinate with the Minis Committee for bookings of half-time Minis teams
38. Manage Club Mascot Leo the Lion – supervising on match day and ensuring suit is returned and cleaned
39. Book and co-ordinate all match day player appearances
40. Host additional match day events for competition bodies
41. Manage flag distribution and flagbearers in grounds/surrounding areas
42. Develop strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders for all match day activations (e.g. event agencies, hospitality partners and stadia signage partners)
43. Ensure all invoicing and expenses associated with Leinster Rugby's events programme are reconciled in a timely manner
44. Set up reporting function to monitor and evaluate event performance to meet objectives
45. Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant staff are kept informed of match day roles and event objectives
46. Monitor and manage Leinster Rugby's brand and logo usage for all events and activations with adherence to our brand guidelines
47. Assist with the coordination of Leinster Rugby's events at different stadia and venues across the province to the highest standards and established protocols
48. Conduct match/venue debrief meetings and ensure detailed records are maintained
49. Comply with all current Stadia health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures
50. Coordinate Safety Statements and ensure risk assessments are undertaken by the appointed Health and Safety Consultant for all Leinster Rugby Events
51. Ensure that contractors working at events submit all necessary documentation prior to an event, i.e. insurance details, safety statements and risk assessments and that these are reviewed in advance by Health and Safety
52. Assist on day-to-day event operations including matches and concerts in Energia Park throughout the season and for additional events during the summer months
53. Working at School's matches as well as contributing to a successful delivery of School's Cup Campaign, liaising with a range of stakeholders to ensure smooth running of these events
54. Carry out any other duties that may assigned from time to time
