**The Role**
We are seeking qualified Chef de Partie candidates to join our team at Mac's Place Delicatessen. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will assist the Head Chef in ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen and maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Maintain a safe, hygienic, and healthy working environment.
* Cook food to a high standard according to business requirements.
* Ensure proper portion control, taste, and quality as per standard recipes.
* Maintain good employee relations and coordinate training sessions with Commi Chefs.
* Liaise with front-of-house staff to ensure customer requests are met efficiently.
* Check food preparation, individual costs, quality, quantity inventories, and portion control on a daily basis.
* Plan menus and recipes with the Head Chef/Deli Manager and test samples.
* Establish job methods and supervise cooking standards to maintain high-quality food and service.
**Requirements**
A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chef de Partie is required.
