We are presently recruiting for a Clerical officer for our clients Listowel, County Kerry Office. Working in a busy office, you will be interacting with service users and ensuring that services records are fully up to date. You will perform data entry, assist in all aspects of payroll for staff and play a vital role in ensuring services run efficiently. This is an initial three-month contract with option for renewal.
Responsibilities:
* Provide office support, answer queries and provide a reception / telephone service.
* Manage relevant documentation / procedures as relevant.
* Manage data - including maintaining, correcting, collating, interrogating, validating and processing data.
* Maintain accurate up to date records filing systems and records (computerised / paper copy).
* Assist in and / or prepare reports as necessary.
* Provide required information and support to Service Managers and teams, team members, clients, patients, members of the public etc.
* Action all communications in a timely manner.
* Undertake any other administrative support and assignments as directed.
* Represent the Service in a positive manner.
* Ensure that service users are treated with dignity and respect.
* Identify potential problems / inconsistencies in a timely manner and consult with Line Manager as appropriate.
Skills and experience:
* Have a minimum of three years' experience in Administration
* Hold a minimum of leaving certificate or similar
* Have a working knowledge of the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) Standards.
This is an initial contract position with options of extensions. Salary is €16 per hour.
