Electrical Project Engineer A leading environmental solutions provider is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join their growing team THE COMPANY: Our client, established over 30 years ago is the top provider of environmental solutions and services to the water, wastewater, environmental, and industrial sectors. They offer comprehensive services including supply, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and routine servicing across all MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) disciplines. Our client continues to set the standard in delivering environmental monitoring and detection solutions for both private and municipal clients. Their Control & Automation division is one of the largest in Ireland, and with a financial turnover in the multi-millions, they are expanding and are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to further enhance their large team of over 50. THE ROLE: The successful candidate will be predominantly site based in Carlow with some sites visits around the Leinster region. They will have the following duties: Working in a support capacity to the Project Manager and assisting through the full lifecycle of projects in design, procurement and build. Working on Irish Water contracts, mostly on water treatment plants throughout the country. Updating design drawings, technical reports and submittals + risk assessments and method statements. Planning, scheduling and co-ordinating all work on sites, including labour and equipment + overseeing Health & Safety and Quality. Carrying out site visits throughout the various stages of each project to ensure works are carried out to a high standard. Assisting with the monitoring and controlling of budget and expenditure.
