Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Content Marketing Executive will assist with the efficient implementation of all marketing activities in line with MFCU’s social media & content marketing strategy. This position requires a dynamic, self‑motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to work in an established marketing department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the development and implementation of the content marketing plan.
* Social Media management including development of monthly content plans and creating content – using the latest social media trends to achieve marketing goals.
* Assist in the creation and management of advertising and communication campaigns.
* Liaising with designers, printers and third‑party suppliers for various projects.
* Review market research and analysis to evaluate member satisfaction and brand awareness.
* Monitor and report on (changes in) market trends to advise content marketing strategy.
* Assist with and develop targeted marketing campaigns to grow the loan book of Member First Credit Union.
* Produce regular marketing reports as requested by the Digital Marketing Manager.
* Responsible for the upkeep of the MFCU brand identity, this involves looking after the use of the corporate logo or any branded material when it is used externally.
* Support the content strategy of the company website (hosted on WordPress).
* Assist with sponsorship management and promotion.
* Assist with community stakeholder relationship management and communication.
* Assist in the management of key promotional events, experiential marketing campaigns and product launches.
The Content Marketing Executive should have the following attributes:
* Strong communication skills and a creative spark with the ability to bring projects from concept to fulfilment.
* A keen eye for detail and graphic design.
* An ability to stick to strict deadlines.
* Strong communication, analytical and time management skills, with ability to multi‑task effectively.
* Hands‑on approach.
* Good understanding of social media marketing and the credit union sector.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
* Knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices.
* Experience with advertising campaign management across print, digital and social media platforms.
* Comfortable with Content Marketing, Social Media, Email Marketing and similar areas.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
* A joined‑up thinker with creativity and commercial awareness – seeing the benefits and pitfalls across the marketing mix.
* Ability to multi‑task effectively; must be able to change gears quickly and have demonstrated persistence when facing challenging situations.
* Detailed and diligent in data analysis.
Location of Employment:
The location of the Content Marketing Executive will be in our Head Offices located at the Artane Roundabout, however, some travel may be required to our other branch offices located on the North Side of Dublin.
Daily Routine:
The normal daily routine of the Marketing Function is 9am to 5pm, however this may be subject to change, so a flexible approach is required.
The proposed salary for this role is €26,000 – €30,000 per annum depending on experience. This salary is also on a scale, with opportunities for annual increments and bonuses.
