Professional Regulatory Solicitor (Temporary) One of Irelands public sector regulatory bodies is currently seeking an experienced Regulatory Solicitor to join their team, based in central Dublin, on a temporary basis.
Salary:€74,000 (pro-rata) Duration:4 months (minimum) Hours:9am to 5pm (Mon to Fri) Working model: Hybrid (Up to 3 days work from home) Annual Leave: 27 days (pro-rata) Location: Central Dublin Covering for a minimum period of 4 months, you will play a vital role in dealing with matters including fitness to practise inquiries, defence litigation, judicial review proceedings and commercial contracts.
Your Role As the successful candidate, you can expect to work on the following matters: Managing a caseload of fitness to practise complaints matters Conducting initial processing and consideration of statutory complaints Dealing with other litigation against the regulatory body, to include JR proceedings Review and analysis of evidence and the provision of legal advice relating to the same.
Attendance in prosecution cases in the District Court.
Analysis of draft legislation and assistance in drafting of Statutory Instruments Advise on matters of administrative law.
Occasional drafting of commercial contracts and management of access to information requests.
Your Profile To succeed in this role you should have: Qualified as a Solicitor and be on the Roll of Solicitors in Ireland 3+ years PQE with at least 1 year working in the areas mentioned above Demonstrable civil/criminal litigation and judicial review experience.
The ability to manage varied internal and external stakeholder relationships at all levels Excellent attention to detail, and demonstrably strong verbal and written communication skills.
A results mindset with the ability to work well under pressure and to strict timelines.
