Health and Safety Professional
Job Summary:
As a Health and Safety Professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of personnel working on various construction projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining a safe work environment and preventing accidents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver health and safety advice and support to site-based personnel and others.
* Provide guidance and assistance to colleagues, subcontractors, and other third parties.
* Properly report incidents, near misses, and accidents in an accurate and timely fashion and assist with investigations according to company policies and procedures.
* Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments as required and ensure that management personnel put appropriate action plans in place.
* Review and implement corrective actions arising from incidents, inspections, and audits.
* Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.
* Assist in the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives and communicate HSE lessons learned effectively.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications and certifications in health and safety.
* 2-3 years' experience working with construction or civils contractors.
* Good understanding of health and safety legislation and the ability to evaluate current and emerging trends in health and safety management.
* Self-motivation, problem-solving skills, and the ability to integrate well into a project team.
