Are you a senior technology risk leader ready to take ownership of enterprise-wide risk governance at a global scale? We're seeking a
Director, Technology Risk Management
to lead strategic oversight of technology risk frameworks, regulatory alignment, and board-level reporting for a major multinational organisation.
Role Overview
As Director, you will be responsible for driving, maturing, and overseeing the organisation's technology risk governance model. You will ensure alignment with regulatory expectations, internal policies, and strategic objectives while elevating risk culture across the business.
You will:
* Lead the development and execution of
technology risk governance structures
, embedding the three lines of defence model.
* Design, validate, and maintain
Risk Appetite Metrics
and
Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
across strategic control domains.
* Run
end-to-end board reporting cycles
, collaborating with second-line risk teams to ensure challenge, oversight, and timely escalation of risk issues.
* Oversee global
policy and standards management
, ensuring alignment with operational resilience, information security, and issue management frameworks.
* Ensure strong compliance with global and regional regulations, including
DORA
, resilience testing, incident reporting, and third-party risk integration.
* Drive stakeholder engagement to strengthen risk culture, supporting structured governance, decision-making, and transparency across committees.
About You
You have:
* Extensive experience in
technology risk management
, enterprise governance, and regulatory compliance within complex or highly regulated environments.
* A strong track record implementing risk frameworks, leading governance forums, and delivering risk intelligence to executive and board-level audiences.
* In-depth knowledge of
DORA
and ICT risk management requirements.
* Experience managing lifecycle governance of policies, standards, KRIs, and risk appetite statements.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder leadership skills.
