Contracts Administrator Role

We are seeking a seasoned Contracts Administrator to join our team for a construction project in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to the development of the Contract Strategy Plan and ensure alignment with client requirements, head contract, and PM Group's scope of services.
2. Participate in procurement and tendering of contract works packages.
3. Assign packages to Contract Administrators for procurement and award.
4. Ensure Contract Documents are fully executed and returned to the correct parties.
5. Verify that all contracts are in place prior to construction commencement.
6. Collaborate with the construction manager to manage and administer contracts in accordance with project procedures, schedule, and budgets.
7. Ensure that the Construction Management team understands the obligations & provisions of respective contracts.
8. Verify that contractors meet their contractual obligations.
9. Maintain proper documentation to facilitate audits.
10. Obtain and retain registers of Contractor insurance certificates.
11. Implement Site Work Instructions and Site Variation Orders Procedures.
12. Generate Payment Certificate procedure in line with client and contract requirements.
13. Coordinate monthly commercial meetings between Contract Administrators and contractors.
14. Assist in overseeing Final Account agreements and ensure final certificates are issued.
15. Contribute to and oversee the monthly cost report for incorporation within the monthly Construction Report.
16. Develop contract close-out procedures.
17. Issue Practical Completion Certificates to contractors.
18. Process Form of Release execution and issuance.
19. Issue Final Completion Certificates to each respective contractor.
20. Secure safe storage of records in archives following project completion.

Qualifications: A degree is required. Additional professional qualifications desirable. At least 10 years' experience in Contract Administration. Proven ability to contribute to project implementation and associated contractual strategies for large-scale projects. Experience with multiple projects in Life Sciences, Food, Mission Critical & Data-Centres, etc. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational skills with an ability to produce accurate work to project deadlines.
