We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team at the Grand Hotel, Malahide on a part-time basis (3–4 days per week).
If you have a passion for numbers, excellent organizational skills, and 2–3 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role, this could be the perfect opportunity for you
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage all incoming invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Verify and reconcile invoice discrepancies and resolve any issues with suppliers
Ensure proper approvals are obtained before processing payments
Maintain vendor files and keep records up to date
Assist with month-end closing and reporting
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth payment processes
Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data
Requirements:
Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role (hospitality experience is a plus)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good knowledge of accounting principles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, or similar)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
2-3 years of expeience in a similar role
