We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team at the Grand Hotel, Malahide on a part-time basis (3–4 days per week). If you have a passion for numbers, excellent organizational skills, and 2–3 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role, this could be the perfect opportunity for you
Key Responsibilities:
* Process and manage all incoming invoices accurately and in a timely manner
* Verify and reconcile invoice discrepancies and resolve any issues with suppliers
* Ensure proper approvals are obtained before processing payments
* Maintain vendor files and keep records up to date
* Assist with month-end closing and reporting
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth payment processes
* Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data
Requirements:
* Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role (hospitality experience is a plus)
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good knowledge of accounting principles
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, or similar)
* Strong organizational and time-management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* 2-3 years of expeience in a similar role
